Caring from a Committed Community
From the beginning, this community based organization was established by the community, to serve the members of the community. Twenty-two years later, Ogle County Hospice Association is still community based, meeting the needs of the members of this community. The very existence of this organization has one function - to serve every person and their family in need of Hospice service. The extension of care into a Hospice Home is another facet of care that will come together to make the Hospice Home a reality. What will be needed? Exactly what has happened over the past twenty-two years, the community will give in proportion to their conviction. It is and has been the conviction of the people that excellent Hospice care is truly possible, available, and being delivered by Ogle County Hospice Association. The magnitude of this project is unprecedented in Ogle County, yet providing in-patient care to the most needy and vulnerable through their end-of-life journey is timely and appropriate.
Making the Hospice Home a Reality
It will take many hands to raise the necessary funds for constructing and furnishing the Ogle County Hospice Home. And it will take many hearts to give the $3 million needed to make this new hospice home a reality. Won’t you open your heart to the terminally ill patients and their families whose last days together become enriched through hospice care?
