Caring for the Cycle of Life

Ogle County Hospice Association is the only Hospice established in Ogle County to serve the people of our communities. Beginning as a volunteer Hospice, the medical needs of the patients became more complex, requiring specialized care. Full Hospice services were instituted in 1995, allowing Hospice to apply the specialized physician and nursing care.

The needs of our communities are changing still. While we are able to provide supportive care to most people in their residences, not all are able to remain at home for this final journey.

Within the Hospice Home, care will be provided by professional staff to meet the needs and desires of the patients and their families.

This unique home will meet the needs of patients and support families, allowing them to achieve comfort, peace and dignity.

Official Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Hospice Home was April 29th, 2008.
